I was a patient of Dr. Alghannam for a few years. I think he is very good at managing pain but his morals/ethics are questionable. From my first appointment, I felt like I had done something wrong. I could not figure out why he was so rude. He did not communicate with me, didn't get my opinion before he made changes to my treatment. If I attempted to ask questions he cut me off and didn't answer. His front office staff fed him false information which didn't help. I drive from Chico to see this amazing kind, knowledgeable pain Doctor. Couldn't ask for a better Doctor.
I had a horrendous experience with this Doctor. I saw him for 2 years, and he even performed surgery. I had a question about how something was done which led to a disagreement and he yelled in my face before stomping of of the exam room. His staff called a couple weeks later to make a follow up appointment for 2 months later. Less than 1 business day before that appointment, the office staff called to say I could "no longer be seen in the office". I was actively receiving treatment yet he refused to see me.
