I was a patient of Dr. Alghannam for a few years. I think he is very good at managing pain but his morals/ethics are questionable. From my first appointment, I felt like I had done something wrong. I could not figure out why he was so rude. He did not communicate with me, didn't get my opinion before he made changes to my treatment. I drive from Chico to see this amazing kind, knowledgeable pain Doctor. Couldn't ask for a better Doctor.
I had a horrendous experience with this Doctor. I saw him for 2 years, and he even performed surgery. I had a question about how something was done which led to a disagreement and he yelled in my face before stomping of of the exam room. His staff called a couple weeks later to make a follow up appointment for 2 months later. Less than 1 business day before that appointment, the office staff called to say I could "no longer be seen in the office". I was actively receiving treatment yet he refused to see me. Dr. Alghannam and his staff amazing. I imagine the negative reviews are from "pill seekers" who have made it nearly impossible for doctors to do their jobs for fear of losing their license, and for patients like myself who are seeking a true solution vs feeding an addiction. Thank you Dr. Alghannam and staff. Y'all are the best!
