Dr. Del Monte is the best doctor I have ever had!! Not only did he fix my wandering lazy eye at 23 years old when every eye doctor I had ever seen, told me it could not be fixed. But he did such a good job with the surgery that one week later my eye was like nothing had happened. If you have any problem with the eye muscles, strabismus, lazy eye go see him asap. Dr. Delmonte saw our 4 month old after our local ophthalmologist referred us to the Kellogg Eye Center for a concern with his vision delays. As healthcare providers ourselves who have worked in a world reknown clinic in a different specialty, we were impressed with Kellogg and even more impressed with Delmonte. I love Dr. Del Monte. I’m 28 now but he’s been my ophthalmologist since I was 8 months old. I have a rare condition from birth and when my parents were so afraid he comforted them and reassured them I would have a full life. He was sweet with me in every childhood appointment and performed two surgeries - one at 18 mo. and one in college even though technically I shouldn’t have been in pediatrics. He cares and he’s perfect at one he does. Don’t pass up the opportunity to be his patient.
