Absolutely the WORST doctor appointment I have ever had. Ms. Karakattu repeatedly talked over me, interrupted me, pushed medications I clearly did not want (without listening to my concerns about why I might not want them), dismissed my mental health questions and concerns, and ultimately told me everything should resolve with "diet and exercise" -- but never ONCE asked about my current diet or exercise habits. Dr. Karakattu is the best primary care physician I have ever had. I am picky about my doctor and really focus on having someone that makes me feel like I’m not just a number and someone they forget about as soon as I leave. She always makes sure to provide the best care and really works with you find and improve any issues you’re having. She is moving from my area and I am going to miss her terribly! Definitely recommend and I would consider anyone that has her as a physician lucky!
Dr. Monika Karakattu is an amazing doctor! She has saved my life. I came to her from another doctor where my health had deteriorated drastically due to combination of medicines as well as high doses. She immediately changed the course of treatment and prescribed fewer medicines. I started feeling better within a week and recovered completely in a month. She listens carefully and is very thorough in her diagnosis.
