I went to Gupta for two months or so. They encouraged using the patient portal for essential communications especially regarding medication management as you’re starting out and finding correct doses. The first person I worked with let me run out after just two weeks and didn’t respond for over a week - then silently just moved me to another person where I’d have to start through my history again. Started out great, but like all reviews mention Dr Gupta pops in for 3 or 5 minutes in person (RARELY) but commonly on the phone and tells you 'yeah yeah totally all good we will get you the care needed and I promise you we will make that (whatever your concern or fear is) not happen!'... just for money, show and trying to make a name for herself especially after the divorce.

My family used Gupta Psychiatry for several months. We continued to go because the social worker was wonderful. Our first appointment was with Dr. Gupta who was a no show. They finally got her on the phone (she was in Asheville) and she spoke with us for about 5 minutes. I definitely got the feeling that money was the object and patient care was low on her priority list. We received ketamine treatments which didn't work. DO NOT TRUST DR. GUPTA. I had a terrible experience with them. They charged me for services that weren't provided including a phone call from Gupta while she was driving and didn't have my chart in front of her. We talked for less than 5 minutes. She billed it as a tele-med appointment which it was not. She also talked me into $350 treatments plus my copay that I had to pay for out of pocket. The treatments didn't work. It's a complete scam. Would not recommend this practice. I did not see Dr. Gupta, I saw a NP for a medication management appointment. The NP was very unprofessional, constantly looking at her manicured nails. I felt that a certain medication was pushed on me, that was VERY expensive. In hindsight, there were posters for this drug in her office… The cost of the medication was too prohibitive, when I asked about other options there was a lot of pushback. Dr Gupta should be the standard and a model of how practitioners should be. She is kind and she actually listens to you. Her treatment is very collaborative, as in if you don’t feel a medication is working she is down to change based on your recommendation. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone who needs decent mental health care.

I would never recommend any one to Dr.Gupta,her office is sucks,they never answer phone you leave message they never call you back, They don’t understand their patience, every refill you have to make appointment,money making machine I had two intake session with Dr. Gupta. After that I saw a pill pusher on a regular basis who gave me a different prescription of medication sample at each visit. Also, Dr. Gupta's Office uses out of network providers without telling you.
