Was sent to see Dr. Ahmed by my regular doctor back in March and have been being treated by him ever since he does a great job with helping me to understand what fibromyalgia is and is very patient with me and educated me on diet changes and how other changes can help me improve my symptoms. I appreciate how he listens to me and helps me to find ways to deal with my new diagnosis. After years of doctors not listening it is refreshing to find a doctor that cares about his patients!
Dr. Ahmed told me that I was faking my symptoms for attention, that they were all in my head and that he didn’t need to see me knowing I had a positive AMA and family history of RA and Lupus; and despite the fact that I was in visible pain with limited range of motion using an assistive device, an unsteady gait with difficulty walking, sitting down and getting up.
