Excellent experience with Dr. Zan. She is a great listener and was able to give me a diagnosis that I was satisfied with and made sense to me based on all my symptoms. I especially liked the fact that she wanted me to try some things before putting me on medication. I highly recommend her to others.
Dr. Zan is a terrible physician. She tried to diagnose me based upon race. Ignored my test results and imaging. She misdiagnosed me and told me to just go see a pain medication specialist. She also told me that "Black women don't get ankylosing spondylitis. " I went to another rheumatologist for a second opinion and was diagnosed immediately. I started treatment soon after and my life changed for the better. Run! What she did to me has scarred me mentally.
