Dr. Mitzi Barbara is great. My complaint is with her “PA”. I had to see Rebecca ( I was told that she was Mitzi’s PA). She was rude and dismissive. I recommend avoiding her. I give her A STAR.
Dr Barmatz is a wonderful Dr. Fixed a 21 year issue after a prostate cancer surgery and it is flawless. Bedside manner is second to none. Thank you Dr Mitzi Barmatz for making me a better quality of life.
My wife Rita called for an appointment to see Dr. Barmatz before the end of 2022 and the earliest she could be seen was June 26th. Even though she had seen Dr. Barmatz previously, they considered her a new patient, thus the six month wait. At 8am on the morning of her appointment we got a call that Dr. Barmatz was ill and we would have to reschedule the appointment. We understand that life happens, so no big deal, right? This was my initial visit with Dr. Barmatz. Dr. Barmatz gave me a thorough examination. She discussed the possibilities for my urological issues and Dr. Barmatz presented resolutions and started me on a care plan which I felt very comfortable with. Dr. Bamatz supplied me with educational materials and explained their benefits.
I cannot begin to express how welcoming it feels to have the kind bed side manners that Dr. Barmatz has shared with me. She has been considerate, and most attentive to my needs as a patient, which that has been so appreciated. A smile from a Dr. is such a comforting thing these days, and she gives me that each time I have had to go to her office.
