I don't know if Dr Barakat is a good doctor because I never got to see her. I made an appointment in April for September 23rd. On September 8th 15 days before my schedule appointment I got a text confirmation of the appointment it did not however confirm the time of day. I called Dr Barakat's Office three times on the 22nd hoping to confirm the time of my appointment. Dr. Barakat is the kindest rheumatologist around. She cares deeply for her patients, listens, and treats you based on how you are feeling, and not just what your numbers show. She is the kind of doctor everyone should have

Dr. Baraka took care of my husband over 18 years ago when he only had months to live. She was the most kind, dedicated, knowledgeable doctor we could have had under the circumstances. Now, that many years later I may once again need a rheumatologist and there is no doubt where I will be going. Thank you, doc!!
