DO NOT GO HERE! I went in for my 1st colonoscopy and Dr. Arenas left me with 2 perforations in my rectum after removing a large polyp. The day after the procedure I advised the nurse that as soon as I left I was having pain and nausea and was continuing to have pain along with no appetite, nausea, and I was not passing any gas. On the sirgical side, Dr Arenas and his staff are terrific. Everyone introduces themselves, tells you the.process every step of the way. Office side, appts, not so great, but that's what it is here in Arizona, so dont be shocked. The surgical side, you'll be taken great care of.

Dr. Arenas & Team are THE BEST! I had back to back procedures; an endoscopy & colonoscopy, which are both unnerving. Dr. Arenas is so kind and calming. He puts you at ease in seconds. His staff is very caring as well. From the first call to make the appt, meeting w/Amy to go over symptoms, scheduling dates, checking in, being called back for the pre-procedure, the anesthesiologist, and Dr. A's asst. checking on me with several follow-up calls post op, and Nurse Chris answering questions. I'll never go anywhere else.

I made an appointment for abdominal pain I was having. I was told I couldn’t see the doctor because he only does surgeries and I needed to see the nurse practitioner. He did do my colonoscopy the previous year and I was pleased with the outcome &. recovery. The NP barely listened to my concerns and attributed the pain to constipation. She also prescribed medication for acid reflux which I do not have. The time I was in there with her was less than 7 min and she was of no help. Second time this happens that I can’t see the do... read more
