I walked in to a small cramped sitting area with a dark haired Asian lady sitting at the " receptionist " desk..I stood in the window listening to this woman talk in a tone my mother would have struck me for from here to Moloka'i! I saw “Dr” Ly last week, the first time after my previous dermatologist retired. Can’t say that I experienced any of the rude receptionist vibes most here are complaining about. What I will say is that the exam room I was led into was filthy. Dirty carpets in the exam room? Dried blood and months, if not years of dust, on the surface of one of the cabinets. What a nice experience at Dr. Ly's office today! It was first time. The office is clean and welcoming. Dr. Ly herself was checking clients in while her staff were busy near by. She was organized and friendly. During my visit --which was just for a skin check up and a skin tag removal. She wasn't rushed or in a hurry at all--in fact when we were done with our visit she sat down for a few minutes to get to know me a little and ask me about myself. If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience at this location was completely ruined by the front office manager, Brenda. Her behavior was shockingly unprofessional, condescending, rude, and completely lacking in basic customer service skills. I’ve never encountered someone in a management role who talks down to people the way she does. I’m not often compelled to write a bad review but this specific interaction with the Office Manager, Brenda was utterly disgusting. Upon making the initial phone call, I was greeted by Brenda. Immediately she had a cold and impatient tone. Regardless, I began to inquire basic questions and her tone quickly became irritated. That was only the beginning of a very unpleasant phone call.
