I went to have a cataract removed. Every time I went, I spent 1 to 1.25 hours just WAITING - and I actually only saw the doc for 15 minutes each time. Who has that kind of time? I'm on the younger side for this and I also think they were cavalier about the vision correction. As a result, the distance they corrected for is unclear, and all the other distances are unclear too - in other words, I didn't have to wear glasses for middle distance before I went in and now I need glasses all the time. Thanks a lot!
I paid cash, then waited 90 mins without seeing the Doctor. Staff kept giving new excuses about lost/new files of patients who would be seen before us. Staff couldn't have cared less. I left without being seen.
Know your insurance well before you go in. Very inexperienced staff, both billing and technicians. I didn't see any nurses. I had an appointment scheduled with the nutritionist. But for unexplained reasons, never got to see him! What was the deal with that? My wait time was more than 60 minutes the first appointment. About 30 minutes at the follow up.
