Dr. Waul is a welcome breath of fresh air in an increasingly challenging healthcare system. His bedside manner is thoughtful and reassuring, and he truly takes the time to listen and examine carefully. After ten years under another physician’s care—and with a family history of melanoma—he identified a precancerous mole that had previously gone unnoticed. I’m deeply grateful for his diligence and expertise. It was a genuinely positive experience at UCSF (and one of only a at this hospital), and I highly recommend him.
