Dr. Wagner truly cared about me as a person, not just a patient. He didn’t shy away from doing my knee replacement because of my age (38)—he focused on my quality of life before and what I wanted that to be after. Just 12 weeks later, I’m playing soccer with my kids, back to lifting weights, and feeling better than before surgery. I’m so grateful for Dr. Wagner’s compassion and willingness to see the bigger picture of what my life could look like after surgery. Couldn’t be happier with the care and outcome!
Dr. Wagner has replaced both my knees. The right knee was done in June, 2022 and he replaced my left knee this September, 2025. I am so satisfied with both outcomes. My recovery on the first replacement went well with no complications. This replacement was even better. Thank you goes out to Dr. Wagner, his team and the joint replacement team at McLaren Surgical Center (Kristen) in making this happened.
Thankfully I was referred to Dr Wagner for Revision of Right Total Hip Replacement. I had suffered for over 5 years after previous hip replacement that was poorly executed and, over time, the stem within the Femur had loosened, compromising balance, walking and any movement of my leg. Dr Wagner successfully removed the prosthesis, cleaning out the bad “Construction Site”, as he called it and smoothing the surface of the hip socket. My experience with Dr. Wagner was outstanding from our first meeting. He is highly knowledgeable and a very skilled surgeon. I was scared to have my hip replaced, but I felt extremely comfortable with Dr. Wagner. I had an anterior approach for the replacement and the recovery was amazing with no physical restrictions from day one, of course there was "some" pain, but 3 days of medication, off walker in 3 days and day 9 stopped using a cane!!
