Dr. Downey and his staff are a blessing!!!! His nurse Hannah was amazing and there for me every step of the way, whether it was a text or a phone call! After a horrible car accident, my ankle was shattered. A plate and 12 screws is what I was left with, along with a LOT of pain, but I figured I was blessed to have a foot. After a missed diagnosis by another doctor and 8 months of pain, Dr. Downey correctly and quickly diagnosed my ankle injury. Surgery followed as soon as I was ready, and it was completely successful. At all times, I felt seen and listened to by Dr. Downey, his nurse, and all other staff members. They explained things carefully to me and to my husband, making sure we understood completely. Highly recommend Dr. Downey! Our daughter injured her ankle through basketball season. After going to other ankle specialists who couldn't pinpoint the issue we contacted Dr. Downey. He quickly diagnosed the issue, recommended surgery and next steps and now she is back fully after only a month and half to finish out her senior season strong.
