Dr. Michael Downey provided an outstanding experience from start to finish. I recently had foot surgery, and the entire process exceeded my expectations. Dr. Downey took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and made me feel confident in my treatment plan. Dr. Downey and his staff are a blessing!!!! His nurse Hannah was amazing and there for me every step of the way, whether it was a text or a phone call! After a horrible car accident, my ankle was shattered. A plate and 12 screws is what I was left with, along with a LOT of pain, but I figured I was blessed to have a foot. I am incredibly grateful to have found Dr. Downey and his team. A year ago, I made what I now consider the very worst decision of my life when I underwent foot surgery with an orthopedic surgeon in Southlake. The procedure was intended to improve my quality of life, but it did the opposite. Two additional surgeries followed in the months after, each leaving me worse than before. Had the inner ankle surgery done and by far the easiest, most seamless Dr visit / surgery I have ever experienced. Very professional in all aspects and everyone in the office works seamlessly on every aspect and had 0 issues through the whole process. Back to 100 percent and ankle feels brand new and more stable then ever. Would recommend this Dr and his employees 100 times over.
I’m very thankful for the care Dr. Downey and his staff provided me. Dr. Downey has a great bedside manner, and my surgery went smoothly. Nurse Hannah and all the staff were always helpful and kind. Highly recommend.
