Dr Tong did a total knee replacement on my right knee on 19th December 2024. It was a huge success, and after only 4 weeks I was in no pain and the knee functioning beautifully. (But this is the result of doing all the excercises religiously every day)I'm now waiting to have the left knee done by this amazing surgeon. I can't recommend him high enough. Great man. Dr Michael Tong is a very caring and thorough Surgeon, he is the only doctor who took any notice of my swollen legs and lac kof breath during the night, he ordered an ultrasound of both legs, no DVT`s, then called me and said he still wasn`t happy, so ordered a D dimer? test after this he called me from his car and told me to go immediately to hospital, which I did and they found Pulmonary embolisms both lungs which means I did need to wait longer for surgery, however I have now had a total hip replacement with a bone graft ... read more

Dr Tong has performed 3 surgeries on me over the past 7 years. 1 hip and 2 knees. All very successful. I would highly recommend him.
