Dr Mai is a genius and enabled me to walk without pain again! Replaced both my hips in 2007/2008 and have had no problems. The review is about Dr Mai, the front office/scheduling team was a nightmare even then. Dr Mai, however, is a bonafide superstar.

Some of the doctors are good but the front desk medical receptionists are another story. They are the first impression of the office. I do not understand why they cannot be more friendly and try to be accomadating as much as possible. It doesn't matter if you are here at the office in person or over the phone. I can wait over an hour for a physician on a regular basis but if you are late then they punish you. The only nice thing I can say is that they have a after hours "urgent" care that is open off Magnolia until 9:00pm.
The receptionist was rude. Then tried to tell me the wait was going to be 2 hours. I suspected she was lying, trying to get me to leave. Funny, they called me 10 minutes after I finished my paperwork... Then the doctor was rude! She kept interrupting me, and was treating me like a drug addict. I've had chronic back pain for almost 10 years now. When it flares up, I normally take pain medicine so I can walk. Excellent skill and care, his instructions about recovery are comprehensive and detailed.Also a very nice person with smile all the time, which comforts patients so much. Fantastic doctor! Highly recommended!
