While on vacation my ten year old son got a very small cut on his second to last toe while swimming. Because the cut appeared black even after cleaning it thoroughly, I called Fishermans and they advised me to bring him in. After a fairly long wait, we spent no more than 5 minutes with the doctor. He told us the cut was fine, did not require cleaning, and told us to apply an antibiotic ointment. Again, 5 minutes. If you want the worst experience in a Hospital ( ER ) you need to go to the new Baptist Hospital in 142 st and 136 ave . I would never go back , the nurse Enit F , the most unprofessional , the worse human being. We visit the Emergency Department with a minor and was the baddest experience for our family . We will continue with Patient Care Services to take action on it .What a shame for a new Hospital .

I went to Baptist Urgent Care in Pembroke Pines last December (am writing now because I just got another bill and I was reminded of my experience) because I had a terrible cough. They x-rayed my chest and gave me something to inhale (which I could have done at home) -- I was told I had bronchitis and medication was prescribed. I did not get better and so went to my regular doctor a little over a week later. I had tracheitis (not bronchitis), was prescribed a different medication, and got well. Doctor Swartzon is very compassionate about his patients and explains everything thoroughly. He is not a surgeon and explains different treatment options. Ashley is very friendly. She spoke to me about PRP, answered all my questions and even drew my blood. They were both very helpful and put me at ease throughout the procedure. I recommend this team for all orthopedic needs.

Dr. Sporrer can only be described as outstanding. My surgery was a complete success which I attribute to his skill and expertise. He spent lots of time with me, was always accessible, explained everything and I'm grateful for his care. His office is equally efficient and pleasant. I absolutely recommend him.

30 minutes before my appointment the office calls to cancel because computers are down and they can’t see me. So I ask can’t the doctor hand write her notes, the doctor’s response is no to reschedule that she doesn’t do that. So you are telling me you can’t work without a computer, nice. No am sorry let’s see what we can do, no reschedule appointment for two weeks. I have a job and no I can’t reschedule for in two weeks something else breaks and you can’t work then either.

Dr.Alvarado did a total knee replacement on me over 6 months ago. He is a real professional, kind and caring surgeon. He will put you at ease. No complications, and Lisa Segura was great too. So glad I went to him, I did very well, am back to work full time, and no pain. Highly recommend him, an angel for a doctor.
