I want to thank Dr Michael Speiss and his team for the exceptional care they provided for me. I didn’t know what the outcome from the surgery on my spine would be. I was worried a lot about that. After the surgery was done and I was able to walk and experience absolutely no more pain was incredible. I highly recommend Dr Speiss if you need spinal Surgery. I now have my life back and look forward to all the things I liked doing.
Dr.Spiess has performed two back surgeries on me since 2021. After my spinal fusion, I’ve still been having pain, problems with my right si joint as well as severe bladder problems. He refuses to see me simply because my mri from earlier this year doesn’t point to a major problem. I think it’s negligent on his part to refuse to one of his patients after doing surgery on them twice. Be very careful who you pick for a surgeon. They might leave you hanging if things don’t go perfectly.

My L4-L5 laminectomy and discectomy performed by Dr Spiess was an unequivocal success. Gateway staff in Calgary, the surgery staff in Saskatoon and all post-surgery nurses were very professional and friendly. I was totally impressed with the surgical facility itself and the care that they took in explaining the procedure and anesthesia. Recovery has been fast and complete. I definitely recommend this approach to anyone that wants to get their life back on track without a huge waiting period.
If I could give more stars I would! I have had two spinal surgeries done by Dr. Spiess in the past year and I have nothing but amazing things to say about him. The pre and post op care was above and beyond and I will be forever grateful for him and his staff. Thank you so much for giving me my life back!
