Dr. Smith is an outstanding cardiologist. He is detailed, knowledgeable and an excellent teacher.
I had my first appointment with Dr. Smith on November 2020. It was stressed that an angiogram would be of utmost importance due to family history, along with other tests to get a better understanding of what was going on with my heart. After a couple of weeks and hearing nothing I called to check on the status of my tests. I was told by a most rude young girl that there wasn’t an order for an angiogram. My mother went to the ER for heart palpitations and was referred here for a follow up. When I first contacted this place, I was told that, although they don't work with her insurance (she has Medi-Cal), if we had an approved referral from primary care, they would treat her. Having gone through that song and dance, a month later, they now say that no, actually, it's not going to work unless we want to pay out of pocket. Thanks for wasting our time.
