Dr. Probstfeld is one of the few doctors today who takes the time to listen and then proceeds to explain the choices of treatments available. I feel like we make the plan of action as a team. Also, I have been to many Vascular Surgeons over time and have informed each one that I have an allergy to epinephrine & if it is used in the numbing shots that I will lose consciousness. Awful! Never let him operate on your wrist. Caused me significant subsequent damage which eventually was repaired by a certified hand surgeon.
Dr Probstfeld has helped me with varicose vein removals several times over the past 7 years and an inguinal hernia. repair. In every instance he has been genuine, prompt, courteous, professional, and always addresses my concerns and answers my questions about the upcoming procedures. I have complete confidence recommending Dr Probstfled as trustworthy and excellent general surgeon. And for the record his long term assistant Ana Lisa is empathetic, organized and responsive.
My mother was so sick, where other doctors failed her and actually almost killed her, Dr. Probsfeld saved her life, literally.
