I have wanted to be a doctor for as long as I can remember; no other occupation was ever a consideration. I am privileged and thankful to be able to be a doctor and help people on a daily basis. Early in my education, I wanted to be an eye doctor, but once I rotated through orthopaedic surgery during medical school, I knew I had found my place in medicine.
