Dr O'Sullivan performed a hip arthroscopy for FAI impingement and a laberal tear. At the time of writing this review, it is close to 12 months post operation. Overall, I am happy with the result and have a better range of motion with much less hip pain during and after sport. I feel like it is still healing and improving as well. The recovery has been fairly slow and has required a lot of rehab. I could get back to most activities after a few months but has taken longer for more intensive sports. Fit healthy, running 12k a day, aerobics, etc etc to struggling to walk and living in constant pain. Its been a year since surgery when I went to get my cartilage tear in my hip repaired. Dr claimed surgery went well! 3 months post pushed for a MRI referral, only to be initially refused. MRI shows cartilage not repaired and less cartilage shown from previous scan?? Needless to say NOT happy at all
