I really like Dr. Mineo. He is a good listener and appears to be knowledgeable. Wait-times, however, are interminable. While I understand that sometimes doctors fall behind --a patient with a grave diagnosis ahead of me may need more attention on a particular day-- they are ALWAYS late at Houston Metro Urology, and not just 15-20 minutes late. Making appointments by telephone is also tough and messages are often not delivered to Dr. Mineo's nurse, requiring me to call back 2 or 3 times.
Dr. Mineo is a very caring doctor that listens to your concerns & provides you with solutions to your medical problems. I was recommended to Dr. Mineo when I had kidney stones by the urologist that was treating my late husband for kidney cancer. Dr. Mineo was my doctor for the next 3 years until I moved away from Texas. I would highly recommend him.
