I went to memorial the other night to labor and delivery experiencing contractions and dr McKay was the on call OB there he me feel so unheard and completely dumb for coming in I had a pulse of 130 and it kept going up the whole time I was there I was rushed out of the hospital and told that I would be fine to just drink water and take a bath. It’s been 5 days and I’m still in pain..
I wish I could give him ZERO stars. I went to him for YEARS with intense pelvic pain and was constantly dismissed. After bringing up the possibility of me having endometriosis, he told me that I wasn’t in enough pain for that, even though I consistently told him I was. Guess I didn’t look pitiful enough to him. The office is nice and staff is caring/friendly. Dr. McKay made me feel completely dismissed from the get go. I followed his instructions for what he felt was going on (due to my age) and still didn’t feel better and he basically said he’s seen women worse than me that are asymptomatic so he didn’t believe my pain.When I asked how to prevent the pain in the future (thinking diet or supplements) he told me surgery or just wait.
