Diagnosed Lyme disease with a bs machine. Also prescribed thyroid medication without a blood test. Completely Irresponsible. He try’s to impress you with his knowledge but never really answers your questions. Completely emotionally disconnected from his patients. A complete sham. Avoid at all costs. Overpriced as well.
My son took me to Dr Gerber in 2015. I had lost a out 70 lbs (Not intentionally) and was weak and shakey. Dr Gerber ran tests, asked questions, and gave me Via, but I wasn't improving.
Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had with a doctor which treated me with Homeopathic treatments. First thing out of his mouth "I will drain your pocket!" so I hope you have good insurance. Would not allow me to see my blood work results or give me a copy. He infringed on my rights as a patient and treated me for things I didn't need to be treated for. He doesn't want to discuss anything with you - he is the expert at everything. Very very late - disrespectful!!!! He walked out so many times during our visit it was beyond acceptable. That was after waiting 45 in the waiting room!! Borderline dangerous in how he treated my son with an injection in his NECK of one of he Caine drugs without even asking me if it was okay all because my son had a headache from strep throat!!! Facility and staff are superb. The staff assists me with obtaining my "Letters of Necessity" for FSA and they always have a smile on their faces. From Dr. Gerber, my treatment is/was caring, gentle and special. He listens to my words. Overall, my health, overall appearance, skin coloring, state of mind, energy level has increased greatly in seven months. At first, I thought his method was different; however, my body and soul is better becasue of Dr. Gerber.
I came in search of IV therapy. Dr Gerber did not seem interested in looking at the extensive testing I had already had done. Rather, he appears to rely heavily on his machine. He gave me DHEA injections, without explaining any risk involved; my hair is now falling out. He seems knowledgeable, but I'm not sure if he's just a fast talker, or if he really doesn't care if you understand. Saw him after going through something like an Addison's crisis, 3 days in hospital, MD's in hospital ignored my concerns with adrenal issues. Insisted I get a family doc before they would tell me my lab numbers or let me see my labs (I am a nurse and they didn't believe me).So I picked Gerber as he was not only an MD and knew the system, but because he had expanded his knowledge and did use alternatives, also he was supportive of the Weston Price protocols and diet. My son had been sick for over a year and was losing weight. Dr. Gerber didn't really give a diagnosis but prescribed the right kind of diet and vitamins to get my son's health back on track. I would definitely recommend him even if you have to pay out of pocket.
I would fully recommend Dr. Gerber. I had been sick for 10 months and all the conventional Dr.'s , and ER visits kept telling me that I had Gerd and I kept getting worse. They kept prescribing Norco, and soma for my pain. Dr gerber found the parasite and in 1 week I was off meds and back to work . His methods are different but they work.
