In April 2025 (It is now September) I went into Skyridge emergency with the left side of my body severely weakened. I guess I had symptoms of a stroke, but it turns out I had a subdural hematoma. Dr Rauzzino was the surgeon on duty and he performed a craniotomy to remove the hematoma and any blood that was applying pressure to my brain, causing the symptoms. When I woke up from surgery, although I can't remember it, I was able to move my left side and I had regained strength in my grip. After one week in ICU, where I receive... read more

I did not choose Dr. Rauzzino, he was on-call when I was brought in as an emergency. I had multiple problems with my neck - central cord, broken bones, vertebral artery, etc. I also had a severe head injury and was in an altered state. When I left the hospital I had zero information - no after care instructions, nothing about the surgery, I didn’t even have his name or phone number. My first visit to his office was horrible, I had no idea what the x-rays and MRI looked like or why he did the procedure(s) he did. I asked to s... read more

I have had 3 surgeries by Dr Rauzzino, the first was a fusion of C3-6, with a plate, the 2nd was to add stabilizers to C6 and C7. Waking up in recovery the pain I had experienced prior was gone! The third surgery just recently was L4-5 fusion with complete laminectomy. Again the prior pain and leg numbness was gone when I woke up in recovery! I highly recommend Dr Rauzzino! His staff is great also!

Dr. Rauzzino was amazing. God worked a miracle for my husband through Dr. Rauzzino. He was always available to answer all my questions and calm my fears. He worked with us until my husbands subdural hematoma and infections were resolved. I recommend him constantly. He is knowledgable, experience, and caring.

Very personable, skilled and caring surgeon. He has a great bedside manner. He is simply one the kindest most caring doctors I have ever been blessed to work with. He fixed my back and leg pain. It was gone as soon as I woke up from the surgery. My back was only a little sore for a couple of weeks afterwards. I'm incredible happy that he was my surgeon. He also has a wonderful team that always returned my calls and took care of my paperwork. I recommend him to anyone considering back surgery. I was very happy with my results... read more

Had cervical spine surgery by Rauzzino resulting in a paralyzed vocal cord accompanied with swallowing nerve damage. I’m having more neck pain now then before the surgery, many sleepless nights. I do not care for becoming dependent on painkillers. The paralyzed closed vocal cord has affected my breathing and my quality of life. Be careful with your choosing of a surgeon.

A year ago Dr. Rauzzino performed a more than 6 hour surgery to remove a very large tumor in the left side of by brain that was paralyzing me on my right side. I woke up after surgery and could immediately move my right leg again. My right arm movement also recovered over the next several weeks. My follow up scan now a year out shows that the tumor is all gone and hasn’t come back. I feel like I am pretty much back to normal now - like it never happened. I am just incredibly grateful for all that he did for me. He had a grea... read more

Had a ACDF surgery now I’m seeing an ENT for a paralyzed vocal cord and a Esophageal dysmotility(swallowing, nerve damage) loss of 20lbs. Also M. Rauzzino was in network but I was not notified that his assistant and Anesthesiologist were not. The paralyzed vocal cord has also affected my breathing and just eating is not the norm anymore. My quality of life is no longer the same both physically and financially.
