Dr. Louwers is thorough and definitely cares about his patients. I greatly appreciate the time he spent with me going over the procedure, reminding me how to take care of myself, and sharing resources about the SGB. I feel like he is doing the work he does out of care. The sheer amount of time he spent with me told me how important the people he serves are. I recommend him.
I heard good things about Comprehensive Pain Management and this was the doctor I had seen. During my consultation he genuinely seemed to care, listened to my concerns, and then he had requested medical records (to be expected) and seemed concerned that my current pain doctor never offered PT, acupuncture treatment, or any treatments and alternatives but had only prescribed medicine that doesn't work and doesn't listen and had never asked if the medicine worked. Very experienced and knowledgeable, he made sure I understood every aspect of side effects and timeline for healing to take place. The procedure was quick and deliberate for minimal uncertainty. I’m very happy with the treatment (Stellate Ganglion Block).
