Dr. Lee and his staff were incredible. As most people with back issues, it was a long road before I got to Dr. Lee - including multiple bouts of physical therapy, acupuncture, chiropractic, steriod injections, and consultations with other surgeons. Dr. Lee was far and away the most caring and empathetic to my consistent sciatic pain and how it was affecting my life. Feel so well informed and confident with Dr.Lee! My spine surgery was done by a different spine surgeon three years ago but Dr. Lee has been caring for my follow up visits! I totally respect him
When my father found Dr. Lee he was very debilitated, unable to walk without assistance and pain was uncontrolled. Dr Lee admitted him to the University of Chicago hospital and discovered he had osteomyelitis in his lower back. After a lengthy surgery, plates, screws and rehab he is now pain free and completely independent and out playing golf again regularly. Dr. Lee is an amazing surgeon. He performed a very difficult and long surgery on my granddaughter. He thoroughly explained everything he was going to do and let us know of all the possible risks of this surgery. My granddaughter came to him in a wheelchair, unable to walk. She was only 8 years old and had never been able to enjoy a normal childhood. Dr Lee rebuilt her spine, the surgery was a great success. She recovered in half the time. I took my daughter to Dr. Lee about 3 years ago. It's was the best decision I have ever made! My daughter had become paralyzed because some spinal disc had shifted and she need a spine correctional surgery including a halo and in hospital rehab treatment for months. Which was not an easy task since my daughter had already had 1 previous spine surgery and she also has kyphoscoliosis, so you can imagine for a 7-8 yr old her spine was a mess.
