I have know him professionally and as a patient for over 10 years and the group plus him are excellent! Very compassionate and with a great sense of humor to boot!
I have a pancreatic cyst that Dr. Heavey monitors for me. Recently I had an issue with being seriously low in iron. Upon trying to find where the blood was disappearing to, I had an upper GI. It was clear then where it was going. Dr. explained that I had an extremely large hiatal hernia. There has never been a time when I am in his care that I feel anything but greatly protected and provided for in the best manner!!
Dr. Heavey was very nice and easy to talk to. He listened to all of the details of my issue and seemed very interested to solve the problem, not just treat the symptom. I am very impressed with him and highly recommend him.
I had my first appointment today with Dr. Heavey. He was incredibly compassionate to my situation. He listened intently to my symptoms, asked questions and then gave me his diagnosis with a plan for the future. I felt like I was heard and treated wonderfully. I would recommend him to anyone.
Dr. Heavey is a true professional, as well as his front office! Every time I go into there office i’m welcomed with a friendly atmosphere. Nobody likes going to a Gastroenterologist, but this office is an anomaly lol. Very good Doctor an office!
Dr. Heavey was so kind and caring while treating me. He was very patient and listened to all of my concerns and gave me straightforward answers. I have so much respect for him that now my family also goes to him.
Dr. Heavey treated our mother while at St Clare Hospital - he was extremely knowledgeable, caring and informative. He has a very positive upbeat manner and he willingly answered all questions. He was very respectful and empathetic.
Received excellent care from Dr Heavey & his staff. He is knowlegeable & explains options thoroughly. I recommend him highly.
