My first ever surgery was a breeze. Total Hip Replacement by Dr. Fracchia. Great recovery. Would recommend completely. Great office support staff.

VEry compassionate a thorough. His PA and Nurse are awesome. Dr Fracchia is consider and compassionate. Visited me everyday in the hospital. CAres about his patients, and always offered a non surgical option

Terrible--I first was seen by his associate Dr. Rana whom I recently wrote a review that he refused to treat me for my hip problem saying I was severely overweight (which I'm not) and refused to refer me to Dr. Fracchia who in turn consulted with Dr. Rana and agreed not to see me. Note: there is NO WEIGHT RESTRICTION ON HIP SURGERY. I was referred to Stony Brook Hospital for second opinion by both which does not take my insurance. I had a bilateral knee replacement by Dr. Fracchia in December, 2019. He is an excellent surgeon! His PA, Michael, and medical assistant, Val, were terrific as well as his staff at Mather Hospital. They were all so professional and compassionate. Dr. Fracchia encouraged attendance at pre-surgical informational seminars that were so educational as to what the surgery and recovery would involve, which was most beneficial. I would highly recommend Dr. Fracchia!

Sprained my ankle and saw him about 2 weeks later as it was still swollen and painful. Looked at my X-ray and asked if urgent care told me anything was broken. I said no, but explained they told me to follow up with an ortho if I was still having problems after a week. He proceeded to lecture me that these things take time and I have to wait it out and stay off it for up to 8 weeks. I had hip replacement surgery and now I truly can enjoy playing with my grandchildren. I've been bowling, picking them up and even laying on the floor playing games with them. These things I never would have considered doing before due to pain. Thank you Dr. Fracchia and staff.

My previous knee surgeries were performed by a highly regarded surgeon from HSS who is no longer practicing, so Dr. Fracchia was recommended to me by a close friend. He is so excellent. He removed hardware last from a previous surgery, which is a very tricky procedure. I was amazed with the results. A year later, he performed a total left knee replacement; again with outstanding results. He is kind, conservative in his approach, informative and available. I highly recommend Dr. Fracchia.
