I was so lucky to find Dr. DePalma. I have lifetime depression treated with meds and behavioral cognitive stuff. I also am an alcoholic and offers suggestions and opportunities to deal with that and that has been successful. He is always assessing effectiveness of meds as my life situations change and present new challenges. He is a good listener. He keeps good notes so we can check my memories if past events. I have been seeing Dr. DePalma since 2015, shortly after I moved to Scottsdale. I had avoided seeing a psychiatrist my whole life up until that point. Being a medical provider myself, I had reservations and shame surrounding mental illness. Dr. DePalma has been my dependable and conscientious psychiatrist for 7+ years now and I am eternally grateful for his responsible care and attitude. When I moved from Colorado to Arizona in 2017 I was faced with the challenge of finding a new mental health care provider. Dr. DePalma was receptive to my situation as a new patient in a new city. He has been there for me on my side ever since and I give him my highest recommendation.
Personable, listens, and is there for his patients and their needs. Recommended.

Advised my wife to go to the ER if she ran out of meds. I just got a bill back from the ER for $1560.85, of which the insurance company ended up paying $992.10, because her meds ran out on Saturday and he's out of office till Tuesday.
