The Dr. and staff are great. Friendly. Accommodating. However, I cannot speak highly for the quality of service. My mom visited for the first time end of summer 2024. A very young assistant gave the vision test, which I was apprehensive about. I didn't care for a very young assistant to give the eye tests without supervision. The Dr. did other tests. This office shows consistent problems with saying they take insurance and then saying they don’t , but will gladly have the option for self pay. I see in the reviews it happens to others as well. My insurance says their office takes it but then it changes once at the office. Not professional or trustworthy with their actions. This happened 6 to 8 months ago so I’m glad I found a more reliable and professional specialist and office.
What a blessing to have found Dr Imler. I saw another opthalmologist in Windermere a couple of times, but felt the appointments were unfocused and gave me zero information as to my dry eyes and increasingly blurred slight. Dr Imler immediately informed me that I have Macular Degeneration!! Unbelievable that two opthalmologists seen this past year (one in the past two months!) never told me this! I recently had an issue with my eyes and was in desperate need of a knowledgeable doctor as I was in severe pain. I picked a physician randomly close to my home. Unfortunately he spent an estimate of 5 to 10 minutes examining my eyes. I was given a prescription and sent on my way. He was pleasant and accommodating by seeing me on short notice.
