I feel that it is important that patients become invested and involved in their care. I take great enjoyment in helping patients understand their condition and help them sift through their many treatment options, and being able to deliver care with great expertise and compassion.

I have recurrent kidney stones and a history of kidney infections that are resistant to oral antibiotics. I woke up one night with a stone and was taken by ambulance to Flower. Flower wanted me to see their urologist and I refused bc I have a urologist who knows all my extensive history. Flower released me without doing a urine sample or any blood work. Dr. Rashid and his staff are great! I recently moved to the area and needed to see an urologist for re-occurring kidney infections. Quite scary when you don't know anyone to ask, so after reading reviews for him, and my primary doctor from my old address recommending him, I'm so glad I went with Dr. Rashid! After a few tests, he determined a course of action that was spot on and less invasive. He understood what was best for me with my medications. I trust him completely! He really cares!
A couple years ago Dr. Rashid and I talked about my prostate cancer and decided the best course of treatment would be prostate removal, which he did. I can not thank him and his oranazation enough. With all my heart I don't think anyone could have performend a better procedure, feel like he truly cared and wanted the best for me. Went the extra mile to ensure me returning to normalcy and being cancer free. I'm 60 years old and do everything I did pre-cancer. Thankyou Dr. Rashid. Dan Brink
