Don’t go for ADHD meds
Dr. McIntosh is an incredibly intelligent and empathetic provider. I felt completely safe and heard during the many years that I was under his care. Unfortunately, I had to suddenly cease treatment with Dr. McIntosh due to a year and a half long restriction put on his medical license that would have caused extremely dangerous and potentially deadly withdrawals for me, and had no choice but to seek care elsewhere very quickly. Dr. McIintosh is the ONLY psychiatrist that actually cared!! I am 52 yrs old and have been seeing Dr's for decades. Dr. McIntosh took the time to sit me down and look me in the eye. He listened to my history, and what side effects I'd had on all the many different pills I've had to take in my lifetime.
