My primary orthopedic surgeon referred me to Dr Michael D Smith when I had severe neck pain and could not lift my head upright. I found Dr Smith aloof and uncaring. Amazing doctor really listens and gives you answers. I did not feel like just another person on his schedule. I felt like I was the only patient he had that day. Took a lot of time to explain my options for my back issue. Make an appointment today if you want real answers.
Dr. Smith did an excellent job fixing my herniated discs. He took the time to explain everything at each of my appointments, never rushing through. He promptly scheduled my surgery when he saw how much pain I was in at my initial appointment. I was very pleased with the care I received and how well the surgery went.
Dr Smith and his staff were excellent to deal with! Dr Smith is a great listener, and allows you to ask any questions you need to. I was terrified of having surgery on my neck, and he was so calm and understanding. His nurse Anne is amazing! On top of everything!! She follows through on every detail, and makes the whole process smooth. Both of them together, are a great team, and I am so happy with my surgery and my care. I would highly recommend Dr Michael Smith!

I’ve been told Dr. Smith is one of the best and after having a disc replacement done with him I believe he is a miracle worker. So grateful and his nurse is so nice. Made me feel at ease during a terrifying time in my life.
