Herrera should probably retire and his office staff is horrible. Note they do not take Humana any longer and evidently even though they have an agreement with the VA they don't honor it - said they don't get paid by VA but the only reason they wouldn't get paid by the VA is if they submit the bill coded incorrectly. Which doesn't surprise me because their staff cannot even answer the phone in that tiny office although they can listen to their music and talk on their cell phones. Go elsewhere. Was seen on time, received a very thoughtfull exam, received very good expalnations and recomenations and I feel I was really found an excellent OD I can trust. Highly recommended
Great care from Dr. Herrera. He takes time to listen to your issues and answer questions. Highly recommend.
Dr.Hererra is the most caring, considerate, and compassionate man. I had been suffering for months and my eye doctor at the time kept saying I had dry eye never looked at my eye or considered other options. Seen as an emergency Dr.Hererra was able to see the issue right away and has since then not only helped me take steps to get my issue taken care of. Called me on the Holiday and during his personal time to make sure I am doing okay and my pain is being managed. I cant say enough about him of the office.
