Dr Ben -- not as good as everyone said I was very disappointed at our last visit. He told me this was a 2 minute sick visit and there was no time to disucss any other issue. He also felt the need to talk down to me as a parent instead of treating me with respect. His visit with me lasted 2 minutes and it took me 2 minutes today to change doctors!!!
Dr Demauro=great but staff=God-awfful Dr. Demauro is an excellent pediatrician. He's genuinely caring, will explain things without making you feel stupid no matter how stupid your question may have been. You can tell he loves his job but his staff leaves much to be desired. Something as simple as filling out a WIC form properly is apparently beyond their capabilities. It took six attempts before they got it right. Dr. Ben is a God send! I am the mother of two girls ages three and one. I am so glad that my friends recommended Dr. Ben as a Pediatrician. He is so gentle and patient with us. My girls have never complained or cried, as most children do, when they know that we are going to the doctor. He is extremely intelligent and has always given us the best care. There is never a wait yet we never feel rushed. I am so glad that he is our Pediatrician and that my family has the privilege and honor to be in the care of such a fine person.... read more
Dr. Ben Spitalnick I have two sons, a three year old and 11 month old, and we have had the honor of having Dr. Ben as our pediatrician. I highly recommend him if you are moving to the Savannah/Richmond Hill/Wilmington Island area. He is very attentive to the children and gives great medical care. He identified problems quickly and referred us to specialist that could help (speech therapy & ortho). The office visits are on time for well checks and for same day sick visits the wait is 15 min. max. He never makes you feel hurri... read more
Dr. DeMauro and Dr. Ben are GREAT!! I have a 15 yr old and a 9 yoa that have been patients of Dr. DeMauro since birth. He has always been pleasant and makes sure that he answers any questions that I may have. The children love him. There were times that Dr. DeMauro was unavailable, so my children were seen by Dr. Ben Spitalnick. He is just as wonderful. He is just as patient and understanding as Dr. DeMauro. I would highly recommend both of them.
Staff=GREATTTTTT!!! Wow. That makes me really sad to think that people think that an entire office where several employees work that all "staff" are bad? That is such a general statement and unfair to the people 'underneath' the doctors that really do a great job. How can some of you people single out a doctor for being so great, and clump together all the employees 'less that the man in charge' the same? I have been going there for years. Dr. Demauro is the best! Dr. Demauro, we love him! What more can I say? I have to say this though- I gather from the dad's comment above that treatment was given to EVERYONE involving his child? I find that his hands on staff have been so nice and caring and never rude to us. It makes me feel sad for the nurses who have always been so wonderful with my children, as going so far as helping me to my vehicle with my kids with this type of comment.
