He’s a very kind person and I do believe he cares about his patients. He will call when there is a problem with medication and fit a patient into his busy schedule . I’m giving him a 4 for personality. He tried and tried with medication but I did not respond to medications. He forgets medication being sent to the pharmacy so I had to the office on several occasions. He wrote up a few letters for me when needed and didn’t charge me. I see Dr Canella & when I called on 2/7/23 a recording said " the office will be closing in April & will not be reopening ". Thus was a shock to leave patients without any follow up care or referral to another provider . Dr Canella is a wonderful & caring Dr with excellent skills . I don't understand how this is happening with no referrals?

I have been seeing Dr. Cannella for a number of years and have been recommending him to everyone I know because he is amazing. He is always so calm and reassuring, especially when I am most upset. He is very responsive when I have had emergencies and called me back right away. He has also squeezed me into his very busy schedule in an emergency. I am very pleased by the services I have been receiving from Dr. Cannella. I initially was very nervous because I have never met with a psychiatrist before, but as my issues became more apparent I knew I needed to reach out and ask for help. Dr. Cannella is so understanding, and helped me when I felt that no one would understand what I was going through. Thank you for your compassion and continued support and treatment. I would definitely recommend Dr. Cannella.

The nicest, kindest most compassionate doctor I have ever met. He returns phone calls and in 8 years he has only been late 4 times and not even significantly late. When he retires I am just going to get medications.from my regular MD. The prior doctor to him was a sexual harasser and it took me 1 year of background checks to find him. I really feel blessed to have met such a wonderful person..

I thought Dr. Cannella was an engaged listener and very pleasant when I was able to see him but te success rate of getting the prescription he wrote was slightly worse than 50/50. He has never returned a phone call, even repeated calls asking for help with prescriptions and writing a letter outlining all the problems had. I am not sure if I will look for another doctor but Cannella's office has declined to get back to me about a recommendations or my records.

Dr Cannella is wonderful. He is very knowledgable in medications. He always spends time I need. He has helped me a lot. I have referred several friends and family members and they are also pleased with the care they receive.
