Dr. Freeland and the staff at SGO were truly phenomenal. I recently had a minor procedure that I had been apprehensive about for almost a year. Dr. Freeland took the time to carefully explain every part of the process. I felt safe and genuinely cared for, and he helped calm my nerves throughout the entire procedure. Also, my scars are healing beautifully! If I need surgery again, I would absolutely come back to Dr. Freeland.
My husband had hernia surgery with Dr.Freeland and we had such a wonderful experience with him and his staffs. During the consultation, Dr.Freeland was kind, humble, understanding and explained what he was going to do in simple terms that made us feel we were in great hands. This review is for Melody. My son scheduled an appointment, and I was just calling to verify all records were there prior to the consultation. She was very professional and kind. She informed me that he was not scheduled on that date/time that I had mentioned. She was able to accommodate him at the time that we thought it was at. Kudos to Melody !! Great first impression of the office so far.
This doctor contributed to my dad's death. My dad went in for a surgery evaluation, at this appointment the doctor pushed my dad's hernia back in to evaluate what kind of surgery needed to be done. What he failed to do was inform my dad that it's a 99% chance that the hernia would come back out and if this happened and he experiences vomiting or pain to go into the ER asap. Dr. Freeland is the very best. He's kind, listens to all concerns, and answers all questions. The office staff are very friendly as well. Wait times vary but the quality of care is worth it.
