I’m sorry to share this feedback about Dr. Allen, but I feel I didn’t receive the support I needed during my pregnancy. I was very committed to having a vaginal birth, yet he continually encouraged induction before 40 weeks, even though my understanding is that inductions are typically recommended only after the due date. He also made a comment about my body size—saying I’m not ‘the biggest person in the world’—which made me feel as though he doubted my ability to deliver vaginally.
