I’m sorry to share this feedback about Dr. Allen, but I feel I didn’t receive the support I needed during my pregnancy. I was very committed to having a vaginal birth, yet he continually encouraged induction before 40 weeks, even though my understanding is that inductions are typically recommended only after the due date. I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Michael Allen. He delivered my baby and made me feel safe and confident throughout the whole process. His calm and professional approach gave me a lot of reassurance, and I truly felt supported every step of the way. I am very grateful for his care and highly recommend him.
I am horrified by the care I received from Dr. Allen at St John of God Hospital. Despite obvious signs of preeclampsia—severe headaches, sudden weight gain, high blood pressure—my concerns were completely ignored. This negligence led to a life-threatening emergency C-section, a post-eclamptic seizure, and my newborn being placed in NICU.
