I have been using Michael Novak and NASA for over 15 years. Dr. Novak is the best neurologist I have ever found. I have also used Dr. Gerber for surgery from NASA and found him wonderful. The staff has always been good to me.
I suffered a stroke and it has been a nightmare working with Dr. Novak's office. I was supposed to get an MRI however insurance company never got a pre certification and I'm in severe pain. I'm paralyzed on one side and being told to go to work fulltime. However it turns out the staff misread the chart. Incompetence at its finest. Compassion and empathy are also non existent. Now my caregiver has to fight with the insurance company due to paperwork that wasn't done by Dr Novak's office as it was supposed to. Sad!
Dr Novak has been my Neurologist for almost 13 years. I suffered from debilitating migraines. Today my migraines are pretty much nonexistent. My treatment plan was set in motion at my first appointment and adjusted as my needs changed. He is professional and kind gives his patients his undivided attention. Jennifer his wonderful PA has been available to answer any questions with honesty and integrity. She and makes you feel at ease discussing any concerns. The staff is rude and it is a nightmare trying to get an appointment in either facility. Dr. Novak is good but needs to get rid of his staff if he wants his business to make any progress. That's the reason I'm switching to another facility because of his staff. Dr. Novak really wants to help his patients
