Unfortunately, my experience trying to schedule an appointment with this endocrinologist was extremely frustrating. Despite having a clear medical need, I was told that I couldn't even be scheduled without a referral from my primary care physician. I am deeply confused by the 1 star review, when we had a 100% opposite experience. Dr Shresta has taken very thorough and wonderful care of us right out of the gate. My husband has a very extensive medical history, and she took the time to ask tons of questions and really get to know and understand his complex combinations of medical issues. Rude with pathetic communication. She has no empathy for her patients. Had a simple question about Metformin because there was a clear warning on the NIH website. I even provided the link to the NIH site so that she can see that warning without any effort. She didn’t even bother to simply click and read the warning for a concerned patient. How irresponsible somebody especially in medicine could be. But she had the time to write a long rude note to the patient. She ignored the question I had.
