Dr. Zermeno is well-informed about the most recent medications available. She uses CBT. There is a doctor-patient relationship. But my wife, who was a patient of hers, says that talking with Dr. Zermeno was like talking with a friend.
I found her on the internet and the description said that she treated my adult daughter's type of mental health. She diagnosed my daughter with another illness but didn't treat this new disorder, like she forgot or didn't care. She didn't have any bedside manner, every contact was through email only, which caused more anxiety. Her business practices are mediocre at best. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!
I owe this outstanding physician my life. All the other very qualified physicians ignored me presumably out of their professional arrogance. She took the time to listen very carefully, instinctively realize I was highly educated and trust what I said. This allowed her to uncomplicate everything and make a preliminary diagnosis that I was over medicated. This proved to be absolutely correct.
