At first I thought this was a great place and I realized it was a smoke show and really not helpful at all so I'm changing my review from four stars after 7 years to one star and not just because of one thing, but because of many things! I definitely do not recommend this to anyone and I apologize for my previous review as I was fooled just like I'm sure many have been in the past by this place as well.
DONT BOTHER! My neurologist recommended after behavioral therapy wasn’t working. My neurologist gave me 1 mg Xanax for nighttime panic attacks. While trying to make an appt the rude receptionist put me on hold to check my PDM? Came back and said he wouldn’t see me since I had been on Xanax! What the hell was he going to do, give me a lollipop and sage me?! I WAS SENT TO HIM FOR AN ANXIETY MED THAT BETTER FIT ME! I will make sure and let my neurologist know not to bother recommending him!
Our family member has been a patient at Neuro Behavioral Health for over 10 years. I have never met a psychiatrist that cares about his patients the way Dr. Mehdi does. He never rushes us and always takes time to listen to any concerns we have. Most psychiatrist seem pressured to stay within a 15 minute time limit for a medication check. This office has awful customer service! My NP was released/fired/whatever and they did not bother letting me know. They also did not let me know I only had one refill on a medicine that was prescribed by “fired physician”. The receptionist also tried to blame everything on me when I confronted them about not letting me know an NP had been let go.
Don’t now what the receptionist problem is I called asking if they accept my ins and she was very hostile hope that’s not how they treat they’re patients too lol
