Dr Scears instructed her Living Hope team to cut off eating disorder care without warning or assistance because her billing team was unable to file claims properly, causing an inaccurate account statement balance. She instructed all appointments canceled until the incorrect bill was paid. After we contacted her billing team, giving exact information from Cigna on how to properly file claims under a patient care agreement, no allowances were made for continuing care. Dr. Scears was awesome when she first started out. As the years have gone on, it's really gone down hill. The office staff is very incompetent. I'm not sure where she finds them, but they never know what they're doing. Since she opened the eating disorders treatment center, it's been chaotic at best. She hardly there anymore and she's got way too many patients to care for now. Her best bet would be to get another doctor in there.
She is a good dr but the new staff is horrible..they got all these new office ppl not giving reminders but billing me saying I’m not showing for my appointments .. no compassion and wouldn’t even let me talk to her
This "Dr. Office " service is offal the Dr is never in the office. I could never get a phone call returned. I wouldn't recommend this office for anyone who genuinely cares about their health!
