Dr. Furniss recently volunteered her time to provide free skin cancer screenings for firefighters at our event in Marin County —and we couldn't be more grateful. Her compassion, professionalism, and expertise made a real impact. A wonderful example of a doctor who truly gives back to the community!
My husband and I are both clients. Dr Furniss has served us for several years. She has treated us both for skin cancer and forwarded us to another specialist when the need arose. She is professional and caring. The office staff is wonderful too.

Ignore the first review. Dr Furness is exceptionally well read and efficient. She has been my dermatologist for 3 years and has diagnosed and removed 3 melanomas that were not visible to me. All the excisions were done in her office with excellent sterile technique and absolutely no discomfort. D.O.?? So what. Their training programs are on a par with typical medical schools, and include a greater emphasis on the "whole person". She is a credit to her profession.
Dr. Furniss, DO (not an MD) will do a lot a talking that will cost you more for your bill instead of what the appointment was originally scheduled for. She ventures into areas of discussion outside of her specialty, recommends stopping medications prescribed by other MDs. Followed her recommendations and had several outbreaks from stopping the medication.
