For some reason I saw dr. Pathikonda my whole pregnancy. This was my first pregnancy so now I am realizing how terrible she was. I knew nothing and she could care less to explain to me. I waited an hour or more to see her each time and she would be in my room for less than TWO minutes. When I was a young teenager, Dr. Pathikonda wanted to hurry and give me a hysterectomy because I had an irregular cycle. Thankfully my Mom strongly declined that. Dr. Pathikonda never checked further. My Mom took me to another Doctor and he ran several tests. It turns out I have Endometriosis. I'm sure many others had a pleasant experience with her but it is upsetting how she was quick to wanting to do a hysterectomy and lose a chance at becoming a mother.
Will NEVER recommend her to anyone at all. She didn’t take my concerns seriously. Brushed aside anything I spoke up about. I had to switch doctors at 36 weeks because of her inability to listen to her patients. Ended up being induced with a new doctor right after I fired her because I was told it wasn’t safe for me to be pregnant anymore. They were even sure why she had let me go so long.
My experience with Dr. Pathikonda has always been great!!! I love that she shows genuine concern for my health. She's direct and not there to spoil me or show lack of interest. She's a tough, strong knowledgeable beautiful lady!!!
Will not return nor will I refer anyone. She is the rudest doctor I have ever encountered. I arrived 10 min early and waited for 45 min after my appointment started when I asked how much longer the wait was going to be. 5 min later, Dr. Pathikonda called me into her office and attempted to scold me by saying "all of these patients but you are complaining so I HAVE to see you" while tossing files on her desk all in a tone dripping with disdain. She continued to speak down to me and I stormed out.
