This was the most honest doctor's visit of my life. He listened to my problems, and then told me there was another doctor better suited to address my specific issues. He gave me the choice of staying with him or trying his recommendation. He didn't charge me anything. His concern was purely for my recovery and not for his own profit.
Bedside manner? He defines it. He truly cares about his patients and made me realize that I need to change some of my other doctors, to find ones more like him. The man has been there, by my side, through my journey.
Dr. Acebey was recommended to me by my orthopedic surgeon. Long story short, the doctor is friendly and knowledgeable. However, the procedure did not permanently cure my pain. It was a waste of time, effort and money. On top that I got slapped with two copayments which otherwise would have been considered an outpatient procedure and not an office visit by my insurance.
