After waiting almost 2 months for my daughters appointment, the doctor cancelled it the morning of the appointment and the soonest they could reschedule it for was another month.

Dr. Maciel is a wonderful doctor to have for our son. She truly cares and takes the time to explain complex problems to us. I feel safe taking my son to her. She has performed multiple surgeries on our son and we couldn't be happier with the care she provides.
Highly recommend Dr. Maciel. Our 3 year old daughter has been in Dr. Maciel’s care for the past 2 years. We will never forget our first appointment. Her attentiveness, and professionalism was above anything we have experienced, and it has continued to be like that during the years. She has done everything in her power to help our daughter with her condition (Hip Dysplasia). We will be forever grateful for everything she has done for our daughter.
Worst pediatric surgeon! Told us we would have to except that our daughter would never walk! Hey Dr. Maciel....She walks! No thanks to you. If you are put in front of this Dr. Get up and leave. Never take hope from a parent and never tell a determined child they won't walk!
Dr. Maciel has been God sent to help our princess Kaley M Fondeur! We have 1000% trust in her judgement when dealing with the care of our daughter, who was born with a condition identified as PFFD. Kaley will be undergoing, what we prey is her last procedure, under Dr Maciel's care this coming month. God bless her and the Shriner's Organization!!!!

Dr Maciel is attentive, professional,knowledgeable, caring and decisive. She always has the time to answer our questions. She truly cares about her patients and is involved in their trials,tribulations and shares in their triumphs.

Dr. Maciel has been so amazing! She is has been working with my son for about a year, he was born with clubbed feet and hip dysplasia. Through all of his casting and surgeries she has always walked us through each step and let us know how everything was going to go so that we would have no surprises. She truly cares about her patients and it shows in her work. We are so lucky to have her as his doctor!
