My experience with Dr. Zook and his office has been less than favorable. I had Moh’s surgery performed on my scalp in January and was assured the surgery would be performed in such a way as to not create a bald spot. Well, as you can see from the pictures, I was left with quite a large bald spot. The two times I saw Dr. Zook following the surgery, he was flippant about my concerns and told me it would take 3-4 months for my hair to begin to “sprout” and that I needed to wait longer. This Guy was terrible. Had no clue about Psoriasis.. Wanted to do a biopsy, really? I think after 30 years I know what I have. Visit was useless and wasted my time. Go elsewhere.

I have been to many dermatologists in the past due to having fair skin and living in Florida. Dr. Zook is by far the best I have come across. Previous dermatologists would look at my skin and cut 2-3 moles off on each visit, however Dr. Zook has a tool he uses to closely examine the skin and has not had to cut a single mole yet. Its unfortunate that I was unable to find Dr. Zook sooner and save myself some unnecessary mole removals. The office staff at the Clearwater location is also very pleasant to deal with.
